Please take note of the dates below and mark them on your calendar! These deadlines will affect your chapter’s ability to receive the Triple Crown Awards.
Please make your contributors and chapter leaders aware that:
- By law, the deposit date of a contribution cannot be altered to rectify any situation.
- Never send a credit card contribution followed up by a backup copy of that same contribution– it will be processed twice!
- Please do not mail any contribution (bank or credit card monthly draft, check, or credit card) which is intended for the 2020 fundraising year until after January 1, 2021.

Things That Go Wrong With Contributions
Many things prevent contributions from being deposited or credited. To save yourself and the contributor aggravation (and bank service fees), contribute online. Please familiarize yourself with ways in which a contribution can fail to be processed. If a contribution comes to you first, and it has one of the problems outlined below, please correct the situation before forwarding the contribution to IFAPAC.
Any Type of Contribution
- No dollar amount indicated
- Contribution is accidentally charged twice because it is both mailed and faxed to IFAPAC
- Exact identity of the contributor is unclear (i.e., Jr./Sr. on check; both spouses are members of the chapter)
Credit Cards - Use the online portal
- Expired card
- Card number incorrect, incomplete, or illegible
- VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover must be used
- Contributor wants to make monthly credit card contributions at an amount less than $25
Bank Drafts - Use the online portal
- Account and/or routing number incorrect, incomplete, or illegible
- No bank draft form
- No dollar amount was indicated for an upgrade
- Contributor completed an upgrade form, but is not currently on automatic bank draft
Checks
- Made payable to something other than IFAPAC
- Not signed
- Stale dated
