We are pleased to offer our members access to a special FSP event on October 23rd at 2:30-4 pm eastern time. Participants can join live in Santa Clara, California or register for the live stream as Darryl H. Ng, CFP, ChSNC, CDFA, ChFC, CLTC and a panel of experts on how special needs planning works, different techniques and considerations, as well as presenting several case studies.
Special needs planning is a complex and multidisciplinary area of practice and often utilizes expertise amongst a variety of professionals including legal, medical care, governmental resources, tax, and financial planning. Mistakes are very costly if the coordinated plan of care is not implemented properly. The goal of this session is to assemble distinguished experts in their respective professions for a round-table discussion on how special needs planning works, to explore different techniques and considerations, and to present several case studies to address potential problems and solutions and to illustrate the collaborative nature of taking care of families with special needs individuals.
Panelists for this session are: Anne Koerner, RN, BSN, CRRN, Ellen Cookman, JD, LLM, and Dante Q. Allen, MCM.
NAIFA members should contact Stacie at Stacie@SCCEPC.org. Let her know you are a NAIFA member to receive the FSP member rate.
