Did you know that since 2021 more than 400 students from more than 100 schools have participated in NAIFA's Future Leaders program? This free program gives college students an opportunity to hear directly from NAIFA members about their careers, the path they took to get where they are, and the things they know now, that they wish they would have known back then. If you know of a student (or even a child or grandchild of a client) interested in a career in our industry, invite them to participate in our Future Leaders program. Our fall session started on October 4th, but students can catch up on demand.  

If you haven't heard, the Future Leaders program is a free program designed for students to learn about careers in our industry. For just 45 minutes a week for 4-weeks, NAIFA volunteers break down the ins and outs of our industry to help students find their best fit in the insurance and financial services industry. While we encourage live participation to be able to interact with the presenters, students can also catch up on demand to meet their busy schedules. Students receive a certificate of completion, and members receive potential new hires.

More than 20 students from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee joined NAIFA as student members last week thanks to Future Leader presenter, John D. Richardson! These students are participating in our fall session to start to make connections with the members of NAIFA Nation.
