Your attendance at the Congressional Conference is a great opportunity to advocate for your business and clients and build your brand by letting people know about it.

Make Sure Your Clients & Prospects Know You're Out of Office to Protect Them!

While you will return from your D.C. trip with great photos and memories of your time on Capitol Hill, make sure that you tell your colleagues, clients, and prospects that you're out of pocket because you are going to advocate on behalf of them!  You can cut-and-paste the following as your out-of-office message: 

"I will not be in the office May 19-20, 2025, and will be visiting Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. to meet with our Congressional leaders on key topics that affect your financial security. I'm a proud member of my professional association, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and have made this investment of my time to ensure that our elected leaders understand the impact that proposed laws may have on your financial security." 

Add a Graphic to Your Email Signature While You're Away and Promote Yourself on Social Media

Let your clients and prospects know what you're doing by adding the Congressional Conference graphic to your email signature. We have also created graphics and pre-written messages you can use to broadcast your participation on social media. Use the graphic that is 1104 x 736 for FaceBook and LinkedIn and the 1080 x 1080 graphic for Instagram. All of these resources are available in the NAIFA Leaders' Congressional Conference Toolkit.

Take plenty of photos during the event and post them to social media, too. Don't forget the hashtag #NAIFAproud.
