NAIFA-West Virginia recently sponsored their first annual PAC dinner on October 19 at the Edgewood Country Club in Charleston! This meeting was a joint event with NAIFA-West Virginia's PAC and the Charleston Chapter of Financial Service Professionals.

Their special guest for the evening was West Virginia's 3rd District Congresswoman Carol Miller. This was an excellent opportunity to share their legislative ideas and concerns, as well as some industry specific issues regarding Financial Protection, Retirement (Secure 2.0), DOL Fiduciary Standard of Care and more.

NAIFA-West Virginia Lifetime PAC contributors were recognized for donations of $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000. These contributions from NAIFA-West Virginia members have enabled them to actively participate in the legislative process and develop key relationships with members of the House and Senate in West Virginia and D.C. NAIFA-West Virginia contributed $1,000 to Congresswoman Miller’s re-election campaign in recognition of this event.

A special commendation was presented to the Charleston FSP Chapter in recognition of their 75th Anniversary.
