During March's Chapter Leaders Webinar, NAIFA's new Policy Director Maeghan Gale was introduced! Maeghan's role will be to conduct research and analysis, as well as develop and coordinate advocacy policies and positions. Chapters can use Maeghan as a resource to help support their policy and analysis needs.

Associate Director of Chapter Services Justi Folladori and Chapter Services Manager Zach Levin provided a brief update on what's happening within the Member & Chapter Services Department.

  • NAIFA Chapters are encouraged to first look to the Speakers Bureau for experts to feature at upcoming events. NEW: The Speakers Bureau is now password protected! 
  • The Chapter Coaching Program is now open! Chapters are encouraged to submit their annual report by March 31, so that the Chapter Services Team can continue to provide support to chapters through customized plans. 

In addition, Zach highlighted North Dakota as this month's NAIFA Game Changer! 

Next, Suzanne Carawan provided an update on all things Marketing and Communications.

Lastly, Suzanne introduced NAIFA-Indiana member Chris Barnthouse, who recently worked with NAIFA to provide information to CQ Roll Call for an article on a long term care bill in Indiana.
