Welcome to 2021 Chapter Leaders! On Friday, January 15 more than 100 Chapter Leaders joined us for our first Chapter Leaders Webinar of the year. If you couldn't join us live, here's a quick recap.
NAIFA CEO Kevin Mayeux, CAE welcomed 2021 Chapter Leaders and provided a recap of NAIFA successes in 2020.
In addition to providing leaders with resources they can access throughout the year, Vice President of Member and Chapter Services Corey Mathews, CAE, also clarified the important governance differences between leaders and staff.
Board-The group authorized by state law to make governance decisions on behalf of the organization and its membership.
Staff-The person(s) with ultimate responsibility for implementing the decisions of the governing body.
Lastly, Vice President of Marketing and Communications Suzanne Carawan highlighted focuses for 2021:
