NAIFA's Young Advisor Team Chairs kicked off their first quarterly call of 2022 this week. The 2022 YAT Co-Chairs, Carina Hatfield and Danny O'Connell welcomed everyone to the call. We were joined by nearly 20 of our association's best and brightest.  Was your chapter represented?

The all YAT chairs calls started in 2021 as a way for YATs across the country to come together every quarter. The goals of these calls are to bring everyone together virtually, update our YATs on what is happening across NAIFA Nation, and share knowledge and resources.

One of the main priorities on our call was to talk about the importance of getting involved with NAIFA's advocacy efforts. We need more YATs attending Congressional Conference. This demographic is one that our legislators want to hear from. We need more young advisors coming to Capitol Hill and going to the statehouse to tell their story and that of their clients. In addition, we also talked about the Grassroots Engagement Course, free to all NAIFA members to learn more about the political process.

This was also a great opportunity to get to know new YAT chairs, hear success stories of what other YATs are doing across the country, and ask questions. We also had a brief discussion on NAIFA Connect, the online community for NAIFA members to gather and engage. YAT chairs should watch for an invite coming soon from NAIFA Connect to join our private channel within the community.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our call!
