We are thrilled with how many Financial Security Advocate (FSA) badges that we have issued since we launched the program nearly two years ago. We are even more thrilled to announce that we have improved the program by partnering with the Congressional Management Foundation to bring you our own version of their highly successful advocacy training program!
The new program is called the Financial Security Advocate Academy and will allow NAIFA members to complete the entire program in under two hours! Once you complete the program, you will receive your Financial Security Advocate badge from Credly to post to your social media accounts, as well as we will automatically place it on your profile on our consumer site at www.financialsecurity.org!
If you've previously received the badge, no worries! You will continue to have it because there is no expiration date on it. However, if you are a leader on the blog distribution and have yet to earn it, we encourage you to do so! Six online modules with interactive videos and quizzes allow you to fly through the course and enjoy it while you go! The only thing to know is that space per course that we will run by month is limited, so you need to book your spot and commit to going through the process in a given month!
All of our Financial Security Advocates are proudly displayed:
- On our Financial Security Advocates' page on our Member Portal
- On each members' profile that has earned the badge on our Consumer website (see Bryon Holz, our National President as an example)
- On digital and physical signage at our key signature events for 2023 that includes our Congressional Conference and National Leadership Conference
Showcasing that you have earned your Financial Security Advocate badge can be a great talking point to clients and prospects, as well as a great reason for NAIFA members to get together! During 2022, we had many NAIFA members get together for an hour a week to enjoy camaraderie while working through the modules together!
Make it a group event, or make it an individual pursuit--either way, you are advancing your brand and advancing NAIFA's mission! We are now taking registrants for the March class and space is limited, so please learn more and enroll in a month you choose to earn your FSA!
