Are you a NAIFA member with a talent for writing and a passion for insurance and financial services? Do you know colleagues who are? NAIFA encourages members to contribute articles for consideration on our blogs:

  • NAIFA’s Business Performance Center: Articles on practice management, entrepreneurship, growing your business, exploring new markets, etc.
  • NAIFA’s Talent Development Center: Articles on recruiting new advisors; providing young advisors with tools, tips, and resources to succeed; promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the insurance and financial services industry; etc.
  • NAIFA’s Limited and Extended Care Planning Center: Articles on long-term care insurance and other limited and extended care planning options.
  • The Advisor Today Platform: NAIFA members’ success stories and articles on the value of NAIFA membership and its contribution to professional growth.
  • Advocacy in Action blog: Articles on NAIFA’s advocacy work – report on your NAIFA state legislative days or NAIFA grassroots efforts in your state, tell us how NAIFA’s advocacy has helped your business and clients, tell us your personal advocacy success stories (How did you become involved? How did you make a difference? How can your fellow NAIFA members do the same?)
  • The FinancialSecurity.org blog: Articles for consumers to help them with basic insurance and financial principles and to improve financial literacy.

Blog articles should be 400-750 words (longer submissions will be considered, but they must be compelling enough to hold the readers’ interest). Articles should be educational, may offer tips or case studies, and may provide thought leadership, but should not promote specific products or companies.

Readers of NAIFA’s blogs include your fellow NAIFA members, insurance and financial professionals who are not yet NAIFA members, industry partners, members of the media, policymakers, and the general public. NAIFA also promotes blog posts through its social media channels.

Being published by NAIFA promotes your personal brand, helps your fellow advisors, and supports your professional association. It’s another way you can be a good NAIFA citizen!
