The merger of NAIFA and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP) presents our association new ways to serve our members more efficiently and – most importantly – more effectively. We are working diligently to integrate our memberships and ensure that all members continue to receive benefits that they value. Part of that process is determining how local chapters around the country help NAIFA best serve those members and achieve its strategic goals.

The integration of NAIFA and FSP has achieved a significant milestone with the rechartering of the first two FSP local chapters as new local NAIFA chapters, NAIFA-Central Iowa and NAIFA-Lexington (KY). These new chapters will continue serving members in their areas. Under their new charters they will receive assistance from NAIFA-National and their state chapters in the areas of chapter services, political advocacy and professional development programming, financial management, and marketing and communications.

Additional FSP chapters are likely to be rechartered as NAIFA chapters in the near future.
