The Insurance and Financial Advisors Political Action Committee (IFAPAC) sponsored by NAIFA seeks to advance the legislative interests of NAIFA members on both the state and federal levels, preserve a favorable governmental climate, and promote the best interests of consumers by supporting the campaigns of carefully selected candidates for elective office. NAIFA’s federal PAC is historically one of the top association PACs in the insurance and financial services sector and has a formal process for vetting candidates.

NAIFA’s Candidate Selection Group (CSG), comprised of NAIFA members, regularly reviews association giving principles, and considers a federal candidate’s character when making contribution decisions. The CSG has not approved the 2021-2022 election cycle budget and, in light of the recent violence inside the U.S. Capitol, will carefully consider which federal candidates NAIFA should support.
