State and Local Chapters should have a financial review process, whereby an annual audit or review by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or a review by a volunteer committee occurs to evaluate the financial policies and accuracies of financial reporting.
Ideally, Chapters would require and obtain an annual audit by a qualified CPA. If your Chapter is looking to retain a CPA, the Chapter Playbook now includes a draft request for proposal (RFP) to retain a CPA!
