NAIFA recognizes the Q1 2022 Membership Hard Hat recipient, Beth Valente, CLU, CFBS, CLTC, loyal member since 2013 and NAIFA-Massachusetts membership chair. Beth was selected as the recipient this quarter because she has been a powerhouse in referring individuals to NAIFA and getting the word out on why advisors should belong. In addition, she has been instrumental in introducing NAIFA to several agencies for presentations. 

Beth stated that her reason for being a NAIFA member is that "I love giving back to our community of advisors and enjoy advocating for our industry. I am proud to be part of such an amazing organization that stands up for consumers." She also remarked that as a 20-year industry veteran, there is something different about belonging to NAIFA. Its the strong community network of advisors that makes it special.

Growing membership is important to Beth because "[many] financial advisors fail within the first three years of being in business, if a new advisor becomes a NAIFA member, they will have a community to surround them and educational resources always at their fingertips."
