It's hard to believe that we are more than halfway through December. That means 2025 will be here before we know it. Before the clock strikes midnight, be sure that you have all of the resources and materials you need to get your chapter prepared for a smooth start to 2025. Here are 5 simple things you can do right now:

Set your chapter up for success and plan Membership Power Hours in 2025. NAIFA's Membership Power Hours are an opportunity to come together to help recruit and renew members. The idea was spurred by NAIFA-Pennsylvania's board which regularly hosts Power Hours and invited the NAIFA Membership staff to participate. We're taking this idea and pushing it out across NAIFA Nation. There are 2 ways you can choose to participate in Power Hour. The first is by raising your hand and volunteering an hour of your time on the second Thursday of the month to make calls. The second is to host your own chapter Power Hour and invite the NAIFA Membership staff to join you to assist in making calls. We've built a page of resources for everything you may need to host or participate in a Power Hour.

NAIFA's Membership Power Hour is an opportunity to come together to help recruit and renew members. Our first National Power Hour will be on Thursday, December 12th at 12 pm eastern. Let us know if you would like to participate by sending us an email at recruitment@naifa.org. We will provide each participant with a list and a basic script to use based on the audience that they will be calling. We all will be on Zoom (intentionally on mute) but we'll be available if you are talking to someone and a question comes up.

On November 11, our nation will celebrate, honor, and remember our Veterans. Our Veteran's Day episode of the Advisor Today Podcast will feature Joshua Herrington-Vickers, a former United States Air Force Airman serving from 2009 to 2015 before entering the financial services industry.
