It's award season at NAIFA and we want to recognize our outstanding members and all the work they do for their clients and the industry. Nomination and application deadlines are just around the corner. Help us differentiate our members from the crowd through our awards program. Receipients will be recognized in December during the National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
Nominate an individual who is 40 or younger or who has been in the business 5 years or less for the YAT Leader of the Year Award. This award recognizes an advisor’s commitment to NAIFA, including service on local, state, and national committees and participation in the Leadership in Life Institute (LILI); involvement with state or federal legislative efforts; participation in external service work such as charities; and an ability to inspire others. The winner is selected by a committee of their peers.
Going into its fifth year, the Diversity Champion award recognizes exceptional efforts to promote the full and equal participation of diverse people within the insurance and financial advising profession. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is a key part of NAIFA's 2025 Strategic Plan, help us celebrate our members who contribute to this critical initiative.
Nominations for YAT Leader of the Year & Diversity Champion must be received by August 31, 2021. The nominees must submit their application by September 30, 2021, to be considered for these awards.
Advisor Today magazine's 4 Under 40 Award recognizes four financial advisors who achieve excellence in their profession by or before the age of 40. Individuals receiving this award are not only successful, but they are also committed to their community, family, and team. Past winners have a proven track record of continued success through industry leadership roles, speaking engagements, and increased peer recognition.
The NAIFA Quality Award (NQA) provides advisors at any career stage the opportunity to demonstrate a commitment to excellence within their specialty areas. There are four NQA categories, Life & Annuities, Multiline, Financial Advising, and Health & Employee Benefits. Advisors can apply for any combination of these specialties. Recipients are selected based on specific criteria for each category including continuing education and production.
