Leaders, we’re in the homestretch of IFAPAC Madness 2025, and it’s about to get wild! The tournament clock runs out next Friday, April 18th, at 11:59 PM ET, but hold onto your hats—Round 7, aka Championship Week, flips the script from the past six rounds. This isn’t your average finale; it’s a double-elimination showdown packed with drama, strategy, and a shot at glory! 

In true Madness fashion, Championship Week splits into two electrifying phases. First up, from Saturday, April 12th through Monday, April 14th at 11:59 PM ET, the Prime Bracket champ—either Nebraska or Iowa—kicks back and watches the Redemption Bracket slug it out. Three teams enter the Redemption Championship ring: the two Round 6 Redemption winners plus the Prime Bracket runner-up (the one who stumbles between Nebraska and Iowa). It’s a no-holds-barred battle for redemption, and the stakes couldn’t be higher! We’ll crown the Redemption Bracket champ by noon ET on Tuesday, April 15th—mark your calendars. 

Then, the real fireworks ignite. From Wednesday, April 16th through Friday, April 18th at 11:59 PM ET, it’s the IFAPAC Madness Tournament Championship—the ultimate face-off! The Prime Bracket victor squares off against the Redemption Bracket’s last team standing in a two-chapter clash to claim the crown. This is the final sprint of the 2025 Madness campaign, and it’s all on the line. The Grand Champion gets immortalized at the Congressional Conference in May, complete with a trophy to hoist—and defend—until next year’s Madness rolls around. 

 Championship Week Game Plan:  

•  Redemption Bracket Championship: Saturday, April 12th – Monday, April 14th, 11:59 PM ET. Three chapters duke it out—Round 6 Redemption winners + the Prime Bracket runner-up (Nebraska or Iowa).  
• IFAPAC Madness Championship: Wednesday, April 16th – Friday, April 18th, 11:59 PM ET. Prime Bracket champ vs. Redemption Bracket champ. Two teams, one title.
