Last week, OCi Services and loyal member since 2002, Charles Olsen II, LUCTF hosted NAIFA's first Meetings on Main Street in Omaha. This power-packed afternoon featured some of NAIFA's top talent. This is the first in a series that will be coming to communities across NAIFA Nation. The purpose of the series is to give back to the insurance and financial services industry by providing an inspirational, insightful, and invigorating experience to industry professionals.

NAIFA members who complete all three sections of NAIFA's Grassroots Training series are Financial Security Advocates and are eligible to display NAIFA's FSA badge. The courses familiarize NAIFA members with the political process, help them improve their grassroots advocacy skills, and provide information on advanced advocacy topics, including information for members who might consider running for office, themselves. 

Apex is not just a rebranded Performance+Purpose. Apex is pure professional development, focusing on helping you reach your peak performance. This new event for 2022 is a sales summit for producers that serve Main Street America. The high-energy event is designed around five inspirational keynote speakers that will motivate you to achieve more this year and is supplemented by deep-dive Learning Labs that will provide sales and marketing techniques that you can put directly into action upon your return home.

As you may be aware, Affiliate development is a main goal for the Chapter Services Team in 2022. Back in March, the Chapter Services Team hosted their first webinar on Affiliate development that was designed to help Chapters start developing a successful Affiliate structure. The presentation focused heavily on Affiliate boundary development, as well as provided Chapters with a number of tools and resources necessary to complete the Affiliate development process.

Part two of our webinar series will take place on June 9 at 10 a.m. Eastern and will focus on Affiliate leadership and programming.

NAIFA-Michigan was recently spotted welcoming Collin Hicks as their newest member! Collin was "pinned" at NAIFA-Michigan's recent State Legislative Day (May 2-3). Collin currently attends Northwood University, graduating in 2023, and is a student member of NAIFA!

The Q2 all YAT chair call was very successful! Connections were made and ideas were shared. Not to mention that everyone is very pumped about Congressional Conference and Apex! The leaders on this call are the ones who will be making a difference in our industry for years to come. Let's recognize those who took time out of their practice to give back to our association during Nationa Volunteer Week.
