NAIFA's Advocacy Team is producing a special Financial Security Academy this month. NAIFA and Society of FSP members who complete the academy receive their Financial Security Advocate badge they can use to differentiate themselves on social media and their online profile. All NAIFA and Society of FSP members are eligible to complete the Financial Security Advocate Academy course for free.

NAIFA's Limited & Extended Care Planning Center's "Don't Be Scared of Long-Term Care" event presenters offered something for everyone – from evaluating the many options for LTC insurance to mitigating Medicare coverage gaps, from using hybrid products to emphasizing the importance of disability insurance. This is great information advisors of any practice specialty can discuss with clients as they create a comprehensive financial plan and help take the fear out of long-term care planning.

We're excited to welcome our leaders back to Washington, D.C. for the National Leadership Conference! In addition to our traditional events such as leadership meetings, the Belong Awards Celebration, and Capitol Hill visits, attendees are invited to head to the new NAIFA Headquarters for a special ribbon cutting and open house. On December 5th, cross the Potomac after your Hill appointments and come to the Rosslyn district of Arlington, VA. NAIFA's headquarters is located at 1000 Wilson Blvd. in Suite 1890. NAIFA has announced the 2023 recipients of several national awards and will honor the recipients at the National Leadership Conference and Belong awards celebration in Washington, D.C., on December 4.

The State of NAIFA, our quarterly association update, provides information on NAIFA's progress toward achieving strategic goals, updates ongoing and upcoming programming, and an advocacy briefing. In short, it provides information NAIFA leaders need to keep themselves and the members in their chapters informed.
