Best Practices

After hearing a member of your chapter has passed away, here are some best practices to follow:

1. Obtain the obituary (if you have not done so already)

2. Contact NAIFA Member Experience team to cancel membership/bank draft

3. Contact IFAPAC to stop bank draft

4. Issue statement from your chapter 

5. Send a letter to the member's family

6. If the member was a former National Trustee or President, please contact marketing@naifa.org
