NAIFA-Tampa Bay was recently spotted preparing for the upcoming Across the Bay Collaborative – Summer Edition, a networking event designed to bring together professionals from across the Tampa Bay area.

Hosted alongside FICPA, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, FPA Tampa Bay, and the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council, the event will provide opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas, and connect with professionals from a variety of industries in a relaxed setting.

NAIFA-Texas was recently spotted recognizing Governor Greg Abbott's official proclamation designating June 2026 as Annuity Awareness Month in Texas.

The proclamation highlights the important role annuities can play in helping Texans achieve long-term financial security and retirement readiness. As individuals and families plan for retirement and future financial obligations, many seek dependable strategies that provide stability, predictability, and confidence. Governor Abbott's proclamation acknowledges that annuities can be a valuable tool in addressing these needs while supporting long-term financial goals and financial independence.

When students lose a parent or guardian without adequate life insurance, the financial impact can put their education at risk. The Life Lessons Scholarship Program, created by Life Happens, a NAIFA Community, helps ease that burden—awarding over $4 million to more than 1,000 students since 2005.
