NAIFA CEO, Kevin Mayeux, CAE, kicked off the May Chapter Leaders Webinar with a Congressional Conference update. Currently, there are more than 600 individuals registered, which includes both members and nonmembers! 

Calling all State and Local Chapter Membership Chairs! Our next Chapter Membership Chairs Meeting is on Friday, May 14 at 2 p.m. Eastern.

Do you have a Co-Membership Chair or Membership Committee? Let us know! We would love to get them registered for our monthly Chapter Membership Chairs Meeting so that we can share with them the exciting work NAIFA Chapters are doing throughout the Nation.

A new and improved 2021 calendar is now here! Each month, a new PDF containing important dates will be released on the first business day of the month. The calendar will contain meetings for Chapter Leaders, Chapter Staff, Programs Chairs, Membership Chairs, Presidents and much more! 

Starting in May, there will be a monthly meeting specifically for Chapter Programs Chairs! As part of the 2021 Business Implementation Plan, these monthly calls are being developed to identify collaboration opportunities and to maximize the effectiveness of programs for our members.

Does you Chapter have an upcoming event? Add it to NAIFA's new online community, NAIFAconnect! Not only does NAIFAconnect serve as an online community and member portal to better connect with peers, it also includes upcoming NAIFA events! 

NAIFA President-Elect and National Membership Chair, Larry Holzberg, kicked off our April Membership Chairs Meeting with a welcome message to attendees, as well as an announcement that NAIFA has had two consecutive months of net membership growth! 

Three new documents were added to the Leadership Tools section of the Chapter Playbook this week! NAIFA's 2025 Strategic Plan, 2021 Business Implementation Plan and the recently amended NAIFA Bylaws were all added this week. Check them out using the button below! 

New to the Chapter Playbook this week, is the addition of the NAIFA Model Chapter Board Orientation PowerPoint! Board Orientation is an essential and critical component to a Chapter's success. Typically given each year, orientation serves as an educational tool for volunteers to understand their roles and responsibilities, as well as those responsibilities more appropriately left to Chapter Staff.
