Registration is open for Congressional Conference and the 2021 Promotional Kit is now available.  Look for additional assets coming soon, including "I'm going to Congressional Conference" graphics and a press release template to use with your local media outlets.

Last month, NAIFA launched our new online community, NAIFAconnect. One of the additional features is a calendar for use across NAIFA Nation.  In addition to the information about upcoming NAIFA events, chapters will be able to promote their events as well. Simply complete an online form and we will take care of the rest. 

Do you know of an outstanding NAIFA citizen? Who have you seen lead the charge in 2020? Was 2020 an excellent production year for you? Differentiate yourself and others with one of NAIFA's Awards.

We are pleased to announce that applications/nominations are now open for the following awards: 4 Under 40, Diversity Champion, YAT Leader of the Year and NQA. Applications for each award will be accepted until September 30, 2021. Award criteria and applications can be found in the Talent Development Center under the Awards menu. 

State Advocacy is the most important thing that our chapters due for NAIFA Nation. Make the most of your Legislative Day by using the tools provided in the new State Legislative Day Kit. We've provided a simple checklist to help ensure a successful event, a suggested promotional timeline, sample press releases, as well as a form to request specific marketing materials. The best part is that we can work with you to customize your materials!

Membership Sell Sheet Join the Band-Wagon

Earlier this year, we announced a new benefit for all chapters, a customized membership sell sheet to feature what is going on in your chapters.  We want to recognize our early adopters: Pennsylvania, Houston, Washington, Western Michigan, New Mexico, Minnesota, New Jersey, Mississippi, Illinois and Oregon. 

Every Monday on social media, NAIFA welcomes the new members who joined the previous week. Now you can personally recognize your state's new members with state specific Membership Monday graphics.  These can be found in the Leaders Center under Marketing Promotional Kits and selecting Membership Promo kit. 

The initial 2021calendar is now available!  The pdf contains important dates such as Congressional Conference, P+P and Impact Weeks, as well as a number of additional programs and meetings.  As committees finalize their 2021 meeting dates, an updated calendar will be released.

Let NAIFA take the design work off your hands.  Let us customize the 2021 Membership Sell Sheet with your chapter information.  The updated sell sheet features 2020 YAT Leader of the Year, Carina Hatfield, on the front side along with graduated membership fees. The reverse side has space to talk about the state and local/affiliates, key programs, contact information of a chapter representative and more.

NAIFA has added social media graphics for state chapters to honor their members' anniversaries. The third week of the month, NAIFA creates a social media post to recognize members celebrating milestone membership anniversaries. State specific graphics are now available to download in the Chapter Playbook under social media. Graphics are designed for use with Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and include the following anniversary years, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 50. As additional resources for chapter social media are rolled out, they will also be posted here. 

As we come to the end of 2020, NAIFA is still offering members great content each month.  Take a look at what is on the calendar for December.   Don't forget, you can always access the latest upcoming event snapshot in the Member Portal under "Calendar" then "Upcoming Events."
