By popular demand of our members, NAIFA is launching a book club to keep our members actively engaged through the summer and the remainder of 2024! This initiative is powered by our loyal members who will host each session. Our first session will be Friday, June 28th at 12 pm eastern. The June book will be Building a Storybrand by Donald Miller and hosted by John D. Richardson.

The 2024 Membership Survey will close this Friday, June 14th at midnight eastern.  Who will be the lucky winner of the $500 gift card? If you haven't yet taken the survey, it takes 10 minutes to complete, but provides so much information that we can use in promoting our association. 

If there's one positive that came out of the pandemic, it's that we have the technology that allows us to experience special events together. While virtual is never as good as face-to-face, we also have learned through the pandemic that every moment together is precious and we want to mark time to acknowledge this powerful purpose that we all are involved in called NAIFA.

Major federal tax legislation is all but certain to be coming from Washington, D.C., in 2025. Many provisions from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) are set to expire at the end of next year and Congress will need to address the situation. The lawsuit filed by NAIFA and other organizations opposing the Department of Labor’s fiduciary-only rule has dominated recent industry-related headlines. As one of the major plaintiffs in the suit, NAIFA has featured in the news stories. Last week, nine state chapters added members!  Notably, Colorado continues its new member acquisition success!  The chapter added another four members last week after recruiting seventeen in May!  Keep up the great work!
