As you may know, the plan initially was drafted by a cross-section of NAIFA members, staff, and industry professionals who served on the strategic planning committee, then reviewed by a stakeholder review team, and enhanced by further feedback from you, as well as our past presidents, general membership, and our internal staff team.

New to the Chapter Playbook this week - a model Succession Planning Policy! A good Succession Planning Policy can be extremely helpful in guiding the organization's process for recruiting and developing new talent. Having a plan in place puts you in a posture to recruit top talent; avoid groupthink; promote diversity; maintain a balance of creativity and institutional knowledge; promotes trust between leaders and members; and maintains a balance of power on a board.
