NAIFA members held more than 120 In-District Meetings with federal lawmakers and senior staff during the recent Congressional recess. This is the second post-COVID year in a row that the number of meetings has reached triple digits. In addition, many NAIFA members also met with state officials over the summer.

Every NAIFA leader needs to have the National Leadership Conference and Belong awards celebration marked on their calendars. This is an important event every leader should attend. It not only gives back to our leaders by recognizing the great work they do, but it also gives leaders an opportunity to share ideas and learn more about what's going on within NAIFA.

Did you know that NAIFA has graphics for state-specific YAT Leader of the Year and Advisor Today's 4 Under 40 awards? Logos for each state can be found in the Marketing Brand Book in the Leaders portal. If your state is celebrating these awards, we want to hear about it! On our Advisor Today's  4 Under 40 page, we want to link to the states that are embracing this program. If you have this program in your state, let us know so we can add your page.

It is National Employee Voter Registration Week and NAIFA is promoting the cause with a series of blog and social media posts. We are encouraging members to use sample emails, social media posts, and graphics to encourage their clients and members of their communities to get registered.

It's hard to believe we are nearly halfway through September! We are #NAIFAproud to once again work side-by-side with Life Happens on this important campaign to ensure that more Americans have the coverage they need. We want to know what you have done to recognize Life Insurance Awareness Month. Share your photos and proclamations with us at marketing@naifa.org. There is still plenty of time to get involved and make an impact this month. 

Promote IFAPAC with a flyer, poster, or pull-up banner. NAIFA leaders can download production-ready files from our IFAPAC Resources page and have collateral materials produced by a vendor convenient to you. IFAPAC is crucial to amplifying NAIFA's advocacy voice with state and federal lawmakers. Encouraging NAIFA members in your chapter to support IFAPAC should be a priority for NAIFA leaders.
