NAIFA has redesigned and relaunched the Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) program, a three-course training series for one of the most sought-after designations in the insurance industry. Since 1984, NAIFA’s LUTCF has prepared more than 70,000 insurance and financial professionals to excel in the industry and is often the first designation successful agents and advisors earn.

Today, June 1, is the regular registration deadline for NAIFA members or other financial professionals to apply to take the Life and Annuity Certified Professional (LACP) exam during the July testing window. While registration remains open through June 15, you must apply before midnight eastern time today to avoid the $50 late fee.

State Farm has approved NAIFA’s Life and Annuities Certified Professional (LACP) certification for State Farm agents and is providing incentives for its agents to attain the LACP as evidence of their knowledge of and ethical approach to sales of life and annuity products.

The application deadline is December 15 for candidates to take the LACP exam during the month of January 2021. For the January testing window, applicants may take the exam from their home or office, without going to a testing center, through a live online proctored format.
