We are thrilled to announce that the Young Advisor Team (YAT) program is being expanded in 2024! The first change is to note that the "A" in YAT can now stand for agent, advisor, accountant, or attorney! With our expanded FSP membership, we are looking to welcome in and provide the needed support to our young members so that they can be super successful.

Membership Chairs Calls Are Off & Running

By Suzanne Carawan on 1/19/22 7:41 PM

How do we get everyone to love NAIFA like our leaders that attended December's National Leadership Conference love NAIFA? We get together to problem solve, ideate, share, compare, and most importantly, get pumped about our profession and the good work we do every day!

This is the flavor we're going for in 2022 in membership! As our President Larry Holzberg said, this is the year to expand the brand! Membership Chair calls are designed to get us connected and off and running in recruitment.

The second week of each month contains a set of three calls for Membership Chairs. We have adopted the IFAPAC model of breaking states into regions and then have created a true sales force so that we can move as one by hand-selecting two Membership Vice-Chairs per region.

Role of the Vice-Chairs:
-Be a primary point of contact to state membership chairs
-Help state membership chairs work with local chairs
-Work on membership plans and ensure accountability
-Be the advocate for their region to identify who's doing it right to share & compare on Membership Chair Calls

Let's Grow Our NAIFA Nation Membership Team:
Here's where we are and thank you for serving to all the volunteers that stepped up to be part of the newly structured membership team committed to working as one:

Look how impressive we are! If we are missing your headshot and/or we don't have the right person or you've added a chair, please report send it to your Exec so we can get it updated.

How Will Membership Chair Calls Work:

We've tried to make it as flexible as possible. There are three dates/times per month. Attend the one that fits your schedule best. The calls are designed for the Membership Chairs, but they are open to any leader or Exec that would like to attend.

This past week focused a lot on housekeeping and level setting with Chairs, but future Chairs calls will focus on sales ideas, celebrating wins, and coming to discuss challenge areas we collectively face.
