The "I Love NAIFA Month" and the "It's Not Luck, It's NAIFA" referral incentives have been a smashing success.  As such, NAIFA has extended this initiative through April with a slight change!  For every member who joins and lists a member as the referral source, that referring member will receive a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card.  

As you plan out your calendars with events and agency presentations, remember that we are here to prepare you and ensure that your membership efforts are as effective as possible.  Consider booking a time with Zack Huels (Zack’s Calendly) for presentation tips and tricks.  If you will be working an event, contact Randy Clark (rclark@naifa.org) to make sure you have all the materials you may need to sign up new members.   

I Love NAIFA Month’s referral incentive was such a success, it will be extended into March!  Join the ranks of NAIFA's most passionate and dedicated volunteers and become a membership recruiter. You love NAIFA because it allows you to expand your circles of influence and advocate for your industry and your clients. Invite your industry peers to join NAIFA. Now that FSP has joined the NAIFA family, even more financial professionals can benefit from belonging. 

As we roll into March and toward the second quarter, we are still in need of some volunteers to help drive the membership train.  Membership chairs help sign up new members, renew those that have lapsed, and are key to welcoming new members into the chapter.  If you are a leader in one of the States below, please let us know if you need help finding a membership chair as we don’t have one on file: 

As part of "I Love NAIFA Month", the Membership division is excited to announce a new member referral incentive! What better way to share the NAIFA love than by recruiting new members into your professional association.  All members, including all leaders, are eligible and encouraged to participate!

Last year, state chapter executives had the opportunity to earn some extra cash by meeting a membership goal. Only two states, Nevada and New Mexico, were successful in that endeavor. But they didn’t stop there. Both executives have reinvested money into the chapter to keep momentum going for 2024! 

The second month of each month contains a set of three calls for Membership Chairs.  We've tried to make it as flexible as possible.  There are three dates/times per month.  Attend the one that fits your schedule best.  The calls are designed for the Membership Chairs, but they are open to any leader or Exec that would like to attend.

We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Now that we're over our break, we enter Q3 2022 and undoubtedly, the toughest membership quarter of the year due to vacations, inflation, and many traditional times when NAIFA closed for business during the summer. 

Our June Membership Chair calls have wrapped up and the momentum for 2022 continues to roll on!  We've signed up over 100 NEW members for six straight months and had the best May since 2017.  Thank you to all who took the time to attend.  We get together to problem solve, ideate, share, compare, and most importantly, get pumped about our profession and the good work we do every day!

As a reminder, the second week of each month contains a set of three calls for Membership Chairs.  We have adopted the IFAPAC model of breaking states into regions and then have created a true sales force so that we can move as one by hand-selecting two Membership Vice-Chairs per region.
