On Thursday, February 17, NAIFA-Pennsylvania will host three NAIFA Live watch parties across the state! Members will gather together in-person to view February's NAIFA Live program, "The Champion's Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability from the Sports World to the Business World," with award-winning author and coach Ross Bernstein. Watch party locations include Pottstown, Erie and Pittsburgh.

As State and Local Chapters are welcoming in 2022 Chapter leaders, it’s time to organize! New to the Chapter Playbook this week is a Model Chapter Volunteer Organizational Chart. The chart contains all key leadership positions, as well as a breakdown of key committees. The chart also includes how Local Chapter and Affiliate Leaders feed into the State Chapter.

A critical responsibility of Chapter Officers in managing Chapter operations is to ensure protection of the Chapter’s assets. Each Chapter should have an established set of operating controls, including controls specifically relating to financial management. These controls should include management of day-to-day financial operations, establishment of accounts, preparation and review of financial statements, and monitoring of financial activity.

Along with a PDF outlining the process for Local Chapters to merge or dissolve, this section of the Chapter Playbook also includes template dissolution letters for both the State and Local Chapter to use.
