
Life Happens is a nonprofit organization founded in 1994 by industry leaders who recognized the need to provide more people with educational information about life insurance and related products.
In 2024, Life Happens, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Society of Financial Services Professionals unified as one organization. The expanded organization retains all three brands under the NAIFA umbrella and leverages each organization’s strengths to create a greater impact for the industry, financial service professionals and consumers. NAIFA offers:
Life Happens’ Consumer-Focused Financial Education: NAIFA provides comprehensive financial education for consumers through engaging media campaigns and powerful storytelling led by Life Happens.
Advocacy: NAIFA is the only financial services association that protects the industry and consumers through grassroots advocacy and influence at the state, interstate, and federal levels.
Professional Learning and Development: NAIFA is an industry leader in professional learning.
