Chapter Leaders Blog – Blog specifically for Chapter Leaders communication. The blog contains the latest news and information for Chapters, including updates on advocacy, membership, marketing, programs/services, surveys, links to Chapter resources, Chapter reporting requirements and on-demand webinars. Downloading Membership Reports – There are two ways to access membership reports. First, Chapter Staff or Chapter Leaders are always more than welcome to email any member of the Chapter Services Team and a report will be generated for them. Available membership reports include Current, Recently Expired, Lapsed and New/Returning. IFAPAC Non-Contributor reports can also be downloaded. The second way to access membership reports is through your Chapter group page. This can be done by following these instructions.
Updating Member Records – Members are encouraged to update their member record on a regular basis (i.e. Address, Designations, Company, etc.). If a member has never logged in to our website, they will need to click on the Member Login button found on the top right hand corner of our website. If they have NEVER logged in, their username is their email address and they will need to click the reset my password link to get started.
Chapter Experience Team (CET) – The CET Team combines members of the Chapter Services Team and members of the Chapter Management Team for a staff-to-staff support structure. They work closely with the FLEX Team to identify and address challenges facing our Chapters. Please contact Zach Levin at zlevin@naifa.org if you are in need of staff-to-staff support.
Field Leader Experience Team (FLEX) – In addition to jointly hosting the monthly Cohort meetings, the FLEX Team provides volunteer-to-volunteer support, guidance and direction to Chapter leaders, while also acting as a Rapid Response Group for Chapter needs. The FLEX Team works closely with the Chapter Experience Team to identify and address challenges facing our Chapters. Monthly Cohort Meetings – New in 2022, the Chapter Services Team, along with the Field Leader Experience (FLEX) Team will host a monthly meeting with Chapter Presidents and Chapter Executive Directors to foster idea-sharing, problem-solving and group goals. In addition, we are creating Cohorts to:
Each Cohort is named after a NAIFA great. The Chapter Cohort Roster includes their name, population, FLEX Team contact, monthly call schedule and a description of the NAIFA great they represent.
Chapter Annual Reporting – The Chapter Annual Report is a new process that began in 2021 to better aid Chapters with new resources and customized improvement plans.
First, Chapters are required to complete an annual report that encompasses five categories: Governance, Advocacy, Membership, Communications and Programs. The results of this report allow the Chapter Services Team to better create new resources on a national level and establish benchmarks for all Chapters.
Next, the Chapter Services Team distributes Chapter Action Plans customized by Chapter. These Action Plans help make recommendations for improvement based on the benchmarks by Chapter, as well as deploy new resources as needed.
Improvement is the name of the game, so following these Chapter Action Plans will help Chapters improve in each of the different areas and result in further growth long term as the process repeats annually.
