Some board members like to stay big-picture/long-term focused and let others worry about the tactics and execution. Other board members want to have a deeper sense of ownership and management of the Chapter's activities.
One way is not inherently right or wrong. However, these are different mindsets and if the board isn’t pulling in the same direction, tension often exists.
