Membership Definitions
Producer: A member who is licensed/permitted to sell either insurance products and/or securities. Producers can pay membership fees monthly or annually based on the number of years licensed.
Associate Membership Categories
Associate members receive many of the same benefits of membership, but are limited in the ability to hold certain leadership roles.
Administrative Professional: A member who is an administrative assistant to insurance/financial services producers. They may or may not carry a license, but are not considered to be producers. Administrative Professionals can pay membership fees on a monthly or annual basis.
Industry Professional: A member who is not an agent/advisor such as home office staff, managers, general agents, attorneys, CPAs or recruiters who are not also licensed producers, parameds, and other non-licensed members who provide services to the industry. Industry Professionals pay membership fees on an annual basis.
Student: A member who is pursuing an undergraduate degree at a college or university. Students pay membership fees on an annual basis.
