How NAIFA's PACs Help You
Political Action Committees (PACs) are a standard, nationwide tool used by virtually every industry and profession to support candidates who understand their issues. For insurance and financial advisors, NAIFA’s Family of PACs (including the Federal PAC, NAIFA PAC, and our state-level IFAPACs) is our profession’s proven way to secure access, build relationships and gain valuable facetime with lawmakers at both the federal and state levels.
PACs are not a “dirty word.” NAIFA’s PACs operate with complete transparency. Every contribution we receive and every dollar we spend is a matter of public record, filed with the Federal Election Commission and state agencies. We are strictly limited in what we can contribute to candidates, and we carefully follow our members’ direction to remain non-partisan. Our Federal PAC maintains a balanced 60/40 split in support of candidates based on the majority parties in Congress, ensuring we stay focused on pro-industry policy rather than partisan politics.
