Important Year-End Deadlines for IFAPAC Contributions

Please take note of the dates below and mark them on your calendar! These deadlines will affect your chapter’s ability to receive the Triple Crown Awards.

Please make your contributors and chapter leaders aware that:

  • By law, the deposit date of a contribution cannot be altered to rectify any situation.
  • Never send a credit card contribution followed up by a backup copy of that same contribution– it will be processed twice!
  • Please do not mail any contribution (bank or credit card monthly draft, check, or credit card) which is intended for the 2020 fundraising year until after January 1, 2021.

Last day to mail check and credit card contributions to IFAPAC, PO Box 200722, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-0722 to ensure they are processed for 2020

You cannot send any overnight package contributions to the P.O. Box; no one is there to receive packages.

Email credit card contributions directly to IFAPAC at ifapac@naifa.org.

 

 

 

Last day to mail check and credit card contributions to IFAPAC, 2901 Telestar Court, 6th Floor, Falls Church, VA  22042 to ensure they are processed for 2020- Friday, December 18.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monthly Bank Draft

New enrollment forms received After Monday, December 21, will not be processed in time for the 2020 fundraising year.

 

 

 

Last day to send overnight check and credit card contributions to IFAPAC, 2901 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042

 

All contributions received after 11:00 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, will be processed as 2021 contributions.

 

 

Last day to make online credit card contributions at the Advocacy Action Center (one time contributions; enroll for monthly recurring, or annual recurring contributions) - Thursday, December 31

 

All contributions made at the Advocacy Action Center must be completed by midnight, December 31.

 

As always, please encourage your members to contribute online whenever possible!

Things That Go Wrong With Contributions

Many things prevent contributions from being deposited or credited. To save yourself and the contributor aggravation (and bank service fees), contribute online. Please familiarize yourself with ways in which a contribution can fail to be processed. If a contribution comes to you first, and it has one of the problems outlined below, please correct the situation before forwarding the contribution to IFAPAC.

Any Type of Contribution

  • No dollar amount indicated
  • Contribution is accidentally charged twice because it is both mailed and faxed to IFAPAC
  • Exact identity of the contributor is unclear (i.e., Jr./Sr. on check; both spouses are members of the chapter)

Credit Cards - Use the online portal

  • Expired card
  • Card number incorrect, incomplete, or illegible
  • VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover must be used
  • Contributor wants to make monthly credit card contributions at an amount less than $25

Bank Drafts - Use the online portal

  • Account and/or routing number incorrect, incomplete, or illegible
  • No bank draft form
  • No dollar amount was indicated for an upgrade
  • Contributor completed an upgrade form, but is not currently on automatic bank draft

Checks

  • Made payable to something other than IFAPAC
  • Not signed
  • Stale dated
When using the 3 Easy Ways form, please include a member number. If you have no member number available, IFAPAC must have another type of identifier to be certain that the correct member is credited, such as an email address or street address.
