We Still Have Congressional Conference First-Timer Stipends Remaining

Written by NAIFA | 4/15/26 8:56 PM

As a NAIFA leader, you have probably attended a past Congressional Conference. You're probably also registered to attend this year (If not, you can fix that right now!). But even if you have attended before and even if you are already registered, it's important for you to know that Congressional Conference first-timer travel/accommodations stipends of $500 still remain. NAIFA members who meet eligibility requirements and who have never attended the Congressional Conference are eligible. Please, spread the word among members in your chapter. This is a great way to get someone who is hesitant about participating in NAIFA advocacy involved. The greater our numbers, the more influence we have on Capitol Hill.

We have resources you can use to get the word out. NAIFA's Congressional Conference Toolkit provides chapter leaders with logos, graphics, sample social media messages, and sample email copy you can use to promote this important advocacy event. The Congressional Conference, May 18-19, is NAIFA's signature grassroots event. Please do your part to promote this important event to NAIFA members in your chapter.

The Congressional Conference is an event like no other.

  • It promotes NAIFA's advocacy priorities through direct discussions with members of Congress and key staff.
  • It educates members of Congress about the important work that financial professionals do on behalf of Main Street Americans and allows lawmakers to associate real, genuine people with your profession.
  • It builds relationships with lawmakers that can be vital when future public policy threats to our industry emerge.

The Congressional Conference also provides networking, policy briefings, insights from Capitol Hill insiders, and grassroots training that make NAIFA members more effective advocates on behalf of their industry, practices, clients, and communities. Use your influence as a NAIFA leader to invite your fellow members to join you in Washington, May 18-19. And if you have not registered for the conference yourself, there's no time like the present. Don't miss out!
