When students lose a parent or guardian without adequate life insurance, the financial impact can put their education at risk. The Life Lessons Scholarship Program, created by Life Happens, a NAIFA Community, helps ease that burden—awarding over $4 million to more than 1,000 students since 2005.

Now, NAIFA Chapters can play a direct role through Chapter sponsorship.By funding a scholarship, Chapters can select a local student recipient and be involved throughout the process. It’s a meaningful way to support your community while engaging members around a shared purpose.

Easy Ways to Get Involved
Chapters can raise funds through events like golf or pickleball tournaments, culinary experiences, or simple member donation campaigns. Every effort helps change a student’s future.

A Powerful Impact
After reviewing applications and selecting a recipient, Chapters often present the scholarship in person—creating a memorable and emotional experience for both the student and members.

Take the Next Step
Getting started is simple. Connect with Director of Member Experience, [Jessica Nikkel](mailto:jnikkel@naifa.org), to learn how your Chapter can participate and make a lasting difference.
