Leaders

Nevada & New Mexico Lead by Example

Last year, state chapter executives had the opportunity to earn some extra cash by meeting a membership goal. Only two states, Nevada and New Mexico, were successful in that endeavor. But they didn’t stop there. Both executives have reinvested money into the chapter to keep momentum going for 2024!

New Mexico not only hit its goal but ended 2023 with an impressive 18% increase in membership!  Knowing that the state accomplished its goal because of the hard work of its members, Lynda Turner chose to give back to the chapter. This chapter executive sponsored the first event in 2024 and is sponsoring additional events across the state. Lynda is using this bonus to help ensure successful chapter activities throughout 2024.

Big shout out to Nevada who has made major progress on membership over the last 6 months.  This state has a strong board with more than 20 volunteers and their chapter executive decided to invest in the chapter.  The board has allocated those funds to schedule additional programming events outside of their traditional luncheons. New events such as a Top Golf outings and Happy Hours, will ensure the members have ample networking and opportunities to bring potential members to social events. Nevada is already seeing this investment pay off. At their last lunch meeting approximately 60 members attended, which is the highest number in recent history!

Congratulations to both New Mexico and Nevada on their successes this past year.  Do you have a success story you'd like to share with your fellow leaders? Let us know at memberbenefits@naifa.org
