NAIFA has created a Speakers Bureau to provide high-quality presenters and thought leaders for events across NAIFA Nation. NAIFA will draw from the Bureau to offer industry-leading content at NAIFA’s annual Performance + Purpose conference; NAIFA Live – the association’s premier virtual monthly meeting open to members across the country; and other educational, motivational, and professional development events. NAIFA will encourage its state and local chapters to use talent from the Speakers Bureau for their events.
An expert committee will vet speakers who apply to or are referred to the Bureau to ensure the quality and relevance to NAIFA audiences of anyone listed on the Bureau. The committee will give preferred consideration to NAIFA members, but the Bureau will also include exemplary speakers with expertise in areas critical to building a business, managing a practice, understanding laws and regulations, making sales, using technology, motivating success, and other topics important to the education and professional development of NAIFA members.
“The need for a NAIFA Speakers Bureau became more and more apparent over the course of last year as we ramped up NAIFA’s online programming and had more than 30,000 people attend our virtual events,” said NAIFA Vice President of Professional Development Alaina Faiello. “Our success in delivering quality content to so many of our members and their industry colleagues created a growing desire among thought leaders, both inside the financial services industry and out, to participate in NAIFA events. The Speakers Bureau will allow us to effectively process and evaluate these requests to ensure we are offering NAIFA members the best possible presentations featuring diverse voices at national, state, and local events.”
The NAIFA Speakers Bureau will serve to amplify NAIFA’s brand among insurance and financial professionals and other industry stakeholders and contribute to an improved member experience, thus partially fulfilling two of the goals laid out in NAIFA’s 2025 Strategic Plan. The Bureau will also encourage high-quality speakers from diverse communities and backgrounds as part of the association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.
Speakers with knowledge and experience relevant to NAIFA members and a desire to be listed on the Speakers Bureau may apply online.
