September is here, and that means Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) is officially underway.
Life Happens content is available exclusively to all NAIFA members as a member benefit. Members receive access to easy-to-use digital resources designed to help them educate consumers, engage clients and prospects, and raise awareness of the importance of life insurance. Help Us Track State Proclamations
One of the most visible ways to recognize LIAM is through a state proclamation. As part of NAIFA and Life Happens’ partnership with the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), every state has access to a LIAM toolkit packed with resources, including:
If your state has applied for a LIAM proclamation, please report it to NAIFA, even if you are still waiting for a response. Then, once you hear back, please follow up with us and let us know whether the proclamation was accepted or declined. If it was accepted, be sure to share the final proclamation with us as well. Now, Get Your Members Involved!
LIAM shouldn’t be a one-day or one-post campaign. Encourage your members to take advantage of it. Challenge them to post LIAM content throughout September using the ready-made messages and graphics. Share the resources through your chapter communications. Highlight members who are participating. Share your proclamation. Record a video.
