Earlier this year, NAIFA rolled out a series of Member-To-Member programs, one of which was the P&C Study Group. NAIFA-Missouri Past President, Jennifer Hodges, approached NAIFA staff about how we can acquire, engage, and retain more P&C agents. From that conversation, the NAIFA P&C Study Group was formed.
Each month, members will discuss and review topics related to and impacting members working in the Property & Casualty market. Each month will feature a different topic. The format will feature case studies and open discussion. Our next session will be on Tuesday, October 29th at 3 pm eastern.
In September, NAIFA-Washington Past President, Chris Bor joined the conversation and talked to the group about incorporating life insurance sales into their practice. This was a great way to tie Life Insurance Awareness Month into the conversation. Chris also navigated through the tools and resources available to NAIFA members through Life Happens, specifically using their calculators to aid clients in determining how much insurance they may need.
The P&C Study Group is held the last Tuesday of the month at 3 pm eastern. These informal sessions are open to all NAIFA members, regardless of your practice specialty. If you have an idea or would like to speak to the study group, please submit a topic recommendation. Please note, the Study Group will not meet in December but will resume meetings in 2025.
