Certified Leadership Board Training Date Added

Due to popular demand, we've added one more date to get your board professionally certified - February 19! The NAIFA Certified Leadership Board designation is awarded to NAIFA Chapters upon completion of a live presentation of NAIFA’s 90-minute training program entitled “Empowering Chapter Leaders” by the President, President-Elect, and at least 80% of the Chapter’s Board.

Empowering Chapter Leaders, our Board certification program, covers: 

• Understanding psychological motivations for serving on Boards and how to get the best out of your Board members.
• Legal duties of a Board.
• Aligning the Board to the Strategic Plan.
• Effectively employing and engaging professional association staff.
• Keys to a healthy board culture.
• Board and self-evaluation checklists for continuous improvement.

Additionally, in 2025, there are four other chances to become professionally certified - January 23, May 29, August 14 and December 11. Set your Chapter up for success TODAY and become a NAIFA Certified Leadership Board!
