CLTC Classes this summer
CLTC (Certification for Long Term Care) has been a founding member of the Limited & Extended Care Planning Center for several years. As part of our partnership, we have undertaken a new relationship that allows all states to financially benefit with non-dues revenue when members book a class through a specially designated NAIFA-CLTC series!
Our first NAIFA-CLTC class will start this Friday, July 10th and run for four consecutive weeks. There is still room for a few more people if you want to get the word out to a particular member that you know! The cost for the class--which includes the exam--is $950 and you can either pay in full, or on an installment plan.
The NAIFA-CLTC class will now allow you to bring new non-dues revenue opportunities to your Board and/or Programs chair. Consider adding it into your typical marketing as we intend to hold the virtual class program indefinitely.
Upcoming CLTC series will be:
August: Every Thursday from 1-5 pm eastern
September: Every Monday from 1-5 pm eastern
Here's what you need to know from a non-dues revenue aspect. If we have more than 20 people in each class, the state receives $10 per student in your state, more than 30, the state receives $15 per student and more than 30, the state receives $25 per student.
For July, we have members from the following states signed up:
AZ-1
CA-1
FL-2
KS-2
MD-1
MO-1
MS-1
OH-2
TX-1
We will let you know who the members are in a special page of recognition once they have passed the exam so that you can congratulate them!
What's In It for Your State?
This is a no investment, no logistics, easy way to bring in passive non-dues revenue while better equipping our members with a designation that covers the breadth of planning for extended and long-term care needs. One objection might be that long-term care has gotten a bad name over the years. If you encounter this, just know that the world of long-term care is entirely different and hybrid products of life insurance with long-term care riders are the norm--especially now with COVID-19.
Additionally, there are too few experts in long-term care. We are working with ILTCI and CLTC to help change this fact and get more people specialized. The last piece of the CLTC puzzle is that it goes great with LACP. The combination truly makes for a super-planner for clients' needs.
We've created a new page for CLTC in the Member Portal. The discount codes will stay the same each month with early bird ending 2 weeks before the start of class.
