# [Spotted: NAIFA-Arkansas Awards Life Lessons Scholarship](https://leaders.naifa.org/blog/spotted-naifa-arkansas-awards-life-lessons-scholarship)

 Written by [Kaila Wilson](https://leaders.naifa.org/blog/author/kaila-wilson) | 10/15/25 12:30 PM

[NAIFA-Arkansas](https://ar.naifa.org/) was recently spotted for being the first NAIFA Chapter to give a [Life Lessons Scholarship](https://lifehappens.co/life-lessons-scholarship-program/) supporting a student pursuing a business degree after the loss of a parent.

Life insurance is a vital financial safety net, yet more than 100 million Americans lack coverage, and many who have it are underinsured. By partnering with [Life Happens](https://lifehappens.org/) through the [Life Lessons Scholarship Program](https://lifehappens.co/life-lessons-scholarship-program/), [NAIFA-Arkansas](https://ar.naifa.org/) is helping ensure that a family’s loss doesn’t derail a student’s education—honoring resilience while highlighting the importance of life insurance protection.

If your Chapter is interested in offering a similar scholarship, please reach out to [kwilson@naifa.org ](mailto:kwilson@naifa.org)for more information!<https://memphis.naifa.org/events-calendar?utm_campaign=NAIFA-Memphis%2FWest%20TN&utm_medium=email&_hsenc=p2ANqtz--Vqfyj45W76KJEa-yNcsEMzRnLDiH8o5PwQt20SZAOwDHthJ03wYu9pX5OjjKJnZqYLfAExTnR3sWCRGBsT4D3f05iWQ&_hsmi=347894531&utm_content=347894531&utm_source=hs_email>
